This is a scenario, a "what if." Do you believe if a person ate 10 thumbprints (100 hits) of pretty good acid they would die? Do you even think it would be worth it? You don't need to answer these questions specifically just what are your views on this? OD info as far as I know: the lethal dose for a human of LSD is thought to be around 10000 ugs (correct me if im wrong) if you figure a dose is 300-400 ugs it's scientifically possible to survive a full sheet.
You would not, it is near impossilble to OD on LSD. I have heard either A. No one has ever done it. Or B. It has been done but only by an injection of would equal several thousand hits. At a certain point your body can not absorb any more LSD, so you will not trip harder just longer. So you can't really have a leathal dose. I have taken alot of hits at a time, but never 100, if you do good luck, it'll be a LONG trip.
the ld-50 of lsd is 12,000ugs+ * LD50 = dose which will kill 50% of the tested animals. i have read a few articles of people surving much, much larger doses.
yup, that's the typical overdose level I was reading yesterday that somebody mistaked LSD for speed, so they died... they had 320,000 ug of LSD. [http://www.erowid.org/ask/ask.php?ID=220] I really want to know what happens to peoples minds when they go that far. even 1000 ug. That would be really cool. There are already extreme mind effects [total ego death, etc] at 400 ug.... maybe they go into a coma.
i thought a thumbprint was way more than 10hits. did you maybe mean to say 10 thumbprints = 1000hits?
I've read reports of people mistaking crystal for cocaine and snorting loads of it. I also read one where one guys injected like 320,000 ugs and overdosed, although it may have been something else that killed him.
In the only case of death reportedly caused by overdose (Journal of the Kentucky Medical Association), the quantity of LSD in the blood indicated that 320,000 ug had been injected intravenously." http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_dose.shtml
