That might be the cutest one I've ever seen...I dig his hair. I used to have a piggy as well a loooong time ago.
Yah everyone always loved his hair. When he'd put his face down, it would part down his spine just like a human "part" down the middle lol my mom used to say he looked like a wig you could buy in the store rofl. What kind of piggy did you have?
Aww lol that's so mean of him! lol j/k mine wasn't a biter, really. Only if he felt threatened (like when he bit the vet and then peed all over her...lol) or whatever. He was a licker though, he'd like to sit and lick your fingers...I dunno, maybe he liked the salt or something. KJ I'm so sorry that you're allergic to piggies That sucks. Are you allergic to lots of animals or just piggies??
I've never had a guinea pig. I'm not sure how my cat would react to it. I adopted my cat and I know her previous owner sent her away because she kept eating the hamsters in that her daughter loved. Guinnea pigs are a lot bigger though, so I doubt jazzmin would try to eat one. They are quite cute though. Do piggies have much of a personality? do they recognize you and show genuine interest in you? how long do they live for? I know very little about them.
So now we know what hippys evolved from. (LOL when I first read the title I thought you said "Today I am miss piggy).
Well we lived with a cat this year (my roommate's cat) and honestly the cat didn't seem to really notice the pig...like the pig wasn't cool enough for her or something lol but if you have a cat I would recommend keeping the piggy's lid closed so the cat doesn't get in, even if she's just curious. But they were introduced to eachother and just kinda looked at eachother, you know? no violence. But a good thing to remember is that even though they're big, piggies aren't very good at defending themselves - so I wouldn't stray far if piggy was out for a run and the cat was nearby. Piggies have awesome personalities. Just like people they have food they like and don't like, toys they like, people they like, stuff they like to do...little personality quirks that are quite odd but very funny. For example, when mine was a baby he'd crawl up on top of his log and sleep there, like Snoopy in the comic strip...so I'd wake up in the morning and he'd be sitting up there like a furry vulture rofl. They love people (usually, unless you get a mean one) and like chilling together, like watching tv or having a nice long backrub. Basically they're very content as long as there's someone around paying attention to them - they're companion animals. They do show interest in you, yes...some even learn to recognize their human's voice. Mine did, he'd hear me talking in the hall and start climbing up the bars of his cage, wanting to get out and say hi. They're great pets for kids, too, because they're not as squishable as hamsters, don't bite unless it's REALLY necessary, and have very easy-going personalities. **end plug for everyone to buy a guinea pig**
that noise is so cute! i love the sound they make when the sniff stuff, too...even if they have small noses they still have a very loud snort, it's funny. and it gets louder the more excited they get by the possible food..snort snort SNORT SNORT SNORT hahaha
