I have a pipe made out of plumbing supplies. Its about 2.5-3 inches long and metal which makes for some extremely hot smoke. Freezing it should help a bit with the heat but do you know any other ways to leave the third degree throat burns out of the equation. Perhaps a more permanant and less time consuming method, other than buying a nice piece.
plumbing supply bowls are ez..add in more length to the chamber, wrap tthe stem in a peyote stitch or any other insulation..or do u mean the hotness of the smoke? hmmm..perhaps a better pipes the way to go..metal plumbing supply pipes are a good throw away pipe, but arent the best as a main pipe the advantage of the plumbing pipe lies in the fact that u dont get too upset if u gotta toss it in an emergency.. stone or glass should hit alot cooler
Stone hardly heats up... And yeah you can just go spend 10 cents at the hardware store and PIMP YOUR PIPE! You've officially been pimped.
being that its only 2.5 or 3 inches long I would lenghten the pipe, letting the smoke have more area to cool before it enters your body. Try playing around with different size pieces see if that helps.
I recommend tiring to rig these pluming fittings to filter threw water... or perhaps you make an "up-right water pipe" of some sort... If you are interested, PM me and I can show u a great disposable 20oz bubbler that u can throw away with out to any worries... always looking for a better way! FeelGood
