3 days off from the gym and training. its gonna feel great. my left hamstring is killing me. my body is tired. yet i keep pushing myself...so i'm forcing myself to stay away from the gym this coming weekend
good call. you'll be able to excercize more effectively well rested. besides, you can't build muscle if you don't give it a chance to heal between workouts
i get enough rest...i can do the workouts...more so i want to prevent a big injury right now....even with my hamstring hurting i'm still moving up in weights weird
i know man...this break is gonna feel good. just relax not even gonna run - which i need to do more of, but that can wait
man...I wish I had the time and energy to workout for hours a day again. cool or you though...hope it gets better.
swimming has been over for me for a while. thats when i picked up rugby. i didn't make New Englands, so no need to practice in the pool. i still go now and then. but if ya make New Englands, it goes from early sept to now, so a good amount of the year. thats official practice. but to be really good, you do have to practice year round. but i'm not swimming now...so rugby is my sport at the moment. so were in the gym 3 times a week, 1 night of speed and agility, and 1 night of actual rugby practice. when the snow is gone, we'll be having more rugby practice and less time in the gym. right now, were just getting stronger so we'll get through the season. then during the season, we'll get to the gym to maintain strength and speed.
yeah really. for me, as long as i stick to a routine every time i can keep it forever no problem. then i skip it one time and it's almost impossible to go back, because i can always skip one more time, and so on. i've found this to be especially true in exercizing, and in going to class when i was in college
That is so flipping cool Chris!!! You really got it all back and together this year. I am so proud of you!
i don't miss my workouts...i could be hungover and i wont' miss a scheduled lift haha but yea, if i'm not training for anything, then sometimes it becomes hard to get to the gym
thanks, means more than ya know lyns yea, you know its a sport i've wanted to play for a while. people have been wanting me to play for a few years now...so i have the opportunity know...my knee isn't a concern - i'm stronger than i was before and continuing to get stronger. i'm happy with life. some things can be better, but things are going well. things are falling into place
