.. Porkstock. Substance: 4-AcO-DMT Dose: 50mg Setting: Little house, solo in Sweden. This one was quite heavy. I'd heard a lot of good things about it from various forumers at the 50mg dosage level, so I thought I would use my last 50mg for such a high dose purpose. I finally decided that the day was right for eating my substance. Around 12 at night, I went into my cabin, sat down, and licked up the powder. The taste wasn't too bad - quite bitter but it left my mouth quickly. I was expecting first alerts to hit in a few minutes, as I had read so much on the forums about people having it hit nearly instantly. I waited for maybe 5 minutes and then started to wonder about my substance having degraded as it wasn't hitting me yet, so I lay back to read for a bit. Maybe 20 minutes after eating the substance, I noticed as I was reading that it felt like I was standing a distance from a rushing river. As time passed, the distance between myself and the river lessened. Suddenly I realized that there was huge smile on my face - I was standing right in the middle of the rushing river of energy. I got up, staggered over to my speaker set-up and turned on Untying the Not by String Cheese Incident (I know I've said it before - but damn, it's a good tripping album). Emotions and sensations were rushing through me. The river of energy was slowly pushing upwards throughout my body until it reached my head. I put a blanket over my head, and for the duration of the album I was lying in the complete dark. Entire universes were sprouting up wherever I looked. My brain had been taken far, far away from my physical body. Thoughts of who I was and what I had done did not enter the mind. I was writhing with the pure sensation of that feeling. After the album was over, I put on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Dub Band by the Easy Star All-Stars. Another good album, but I wasn't peaking nearly as hard at this point. The visuals were calming down and I was slowly gravitating back to my body. The smile had been plastered to my face for the entire duration of the trip and still was. I was still pretty high, but not so high that I could just lie there and only watch visuals, so I started to read again. I can highly recommend reading a good book on the come-down of 4-AcO-DMT I watched the sun "rise" (it was cloudy as hell outside) and crashed down onto my bed. The coming down was pretty tough - you go from nothing to being really high without any discomfort and then you come crashing down again. I would really like to do this substance again, around the same dose. It was a beautiful one. <3
I'm not sure I understand.. The trip only lasted the length of one CD before you started coming down? How long were you trippin from start to finish ??
I suppose I skipped a few words. I meant over the period of that second album I was gravitating back to my body. I was still "high" after that album was over - it was just meant to be in reference to how blasted off I had been previously during the experience. The whole thing lasted maybe 4-5 hours. I wasn't really keeping track of time.
Sounds like a beautiful experience. I love to lie down in complete darkness during powerful trips, but I'm sure 4-AcO is a bit different than anything I've ever experienced. I look forward to the day when I can finally know for myself

Sounds good CS! I seem to have the opposite interaction with 4-aco. I find the comeup to be too intense and uncomfortable for an hour or two, then I settle in for a few hours, and then I slowly and gently come down. 22mg lasted me about 5 hours and 27mg about 7-8 hours. My next trial will be 35mg, I don't know if I'll take it to 50 but I'll see how 35 treats me. I spent 13 hours in hell when I combined 25mg 4-aco with 30mg 2c-i and I have yet to go back and face it on its own... I know what you mean by that sensation of a rushing river of energy. It really is a beautiful substance.
Interesting. I settled in right away. Maybe the higher doses just sort of allow you to settle in faster. And MMTG, my highest previous dose was ~25mg.
damn that's quite the jump - were you expecting it to be less / more intense? someones gotta try either IM'ing it or IV'ing it.
I wasn't really expecting anything from that kind of a dose other than that it would be a great experience. I knew it would be intense but.. it wasn't really anything I could relate to other psychs (except maybe LSD, but this was before I ate those 6 hofmanns).
Atta boy! it's fucking nuts innit quite the complex psychedelic, definitely not "candy" though, this one can get super serial. You sound like you handled your shit way better than me on 50mg, but I write that off to poor choice in set/setting. Yeah once you hit the 40-50mg level with this one there's no turning back, the lower dosages are truly lacking.
nice dedication! sounded kinda short to me too, but like you said you probably left some things out. was the crashing down part unpleasant, or just rapid? i'd be down to try this one again too. but probably more like 33 mg. (up from ~25) my last shroom trip has left me...ok on tripping for a bit
Sounds like a heavy trip. I am somewhat surprised by the length as well, I was under the impression that like ~35 mgs and up was a 7-9 hour trip. Untying the not by STI is a great trip album (although ive only smoked weed to it.) The version I had on cd came with a 2nd disc live album that has about 5 wicked long jams' on it! Do you have any desire to use lower doses of 4-aco-dmt anymore or did this kind of raise the bar for good with this psychedelic?
