This is probably a dumb question but...

When Major Slut! and I are in Amsterdam, we had planned a 'train day'. First stop Germany.... food & beer... next stop Belgium... food & lambik... back to Amsterdam... Now we've never been anywhere... so we were hoping to get our passports stamped in both countries... I noticed in other threads that not much checking other than tickets gets done on the train. Can we get our passports stamped?? Do we just have it done in the train station?

You won't get your passport stamped, and I really don't know how to get it stamped either.

CRAZY! Germany and Belgium in one day? You'll hate the 'train day' within minutes...

Okay, it's just that I'm looking at the Dutch way of distances. In about three to four hours you can go from the upper north to the south of the country. That's why I think driving more than 2 hours is pretty long... ;)

    Enjoy your trip!
