so theres this girl that i met online a long time ago. she's a year younger then me, not that that matters, but i just have a problem in my mind on how i met someone online. we used to talk all the time on aim and whatnot (highschool). not that we were in an online relationship or anything, because i kinda have problems with that. ive never met her personally, but we have many common interestsand get along pretty well. well i guess the main question is now that i'm almost 20 im starting to realize that i kinda like this girl. is it right for me to like her? i just got out of a rough real relationship, so im kinda afraid of getting into a new one and getting hurt. not saying that this would turn into this, because she lives about 3 hours away. but ive just got problems in my mind with liking someone that ive met online. what are your opinions on meeting/liking someone youve only talked to digitally? i probably described my problem terribly, im just kinda rambling as thoughts come to my mind. if you need more of a description just let me know and ill try to spit it out in a different way. thanks a ton in advance. -Andy
Meeting someone online is just another way of meeting somebody at a Party just a different method, maybe even better because you have been chatting frequently without the pressure of personal contact. Think about it, why is it a problem ? My girl friend and I met in person and got deeper in online conversation, making it easy to become intimate.
