    Thinking today
Thinking about how things are, how things might be
The season has shifted and the skies are grey
When I think about things with you and with me
I know I wouldn't want it any other way.

    Talking today
Talking about the world, our problems, the future
The clouds opened for a short time on us
I repeated the hopes of dreamers generations before
I know that hope in the ideal is a must

    Dreaming today
Dreaming about our lives, our future, our world
A snowflake kissed my rosy cheek
I'm not the only one dreaming of love in the world
I know the future is not with the meek

    Crying today
Crying about the truth, and the pain we all can see
A cold gust hit me to my core
These tears will never end for all honesty
I know we need to sweeten life a little more

    Thinking today
Thinking about you about me about life
A breath of cold fresh winter air
My thoughts refreshed by the promise of rebirth
The world still turns regardless if it's fair.

From what we can tell from evidence left throughout the ages, mankind evolved from less advanced beings over a very long period of time... why?

Just trying to understand the world view that wrote this poem. For clarity I asked I guess. :/
