Ok space never ends, its just keeps going. Thats means its soooo fcking big that we cant even begin to comprehend how big. So what does that make earth? Just a tinyest spec of nothing. That means we are even smaller. It blew my mind. \

I was thinking about that the other day. The whole concept is hard for me to wrap my mind around.

or, if you think of how small earth is in our universe. then think there could be infinite universes, and think how small our earth would be in an arena of infinite universes, and think of how big the space would be that contains all of the universes. its like size would lose all meaning.

 

You want to really fuck up your head? Consider the Big Bang Theory:
Picture a spinning burning ball of Hydrogen gas. This was the universe a long damn time ago... The WHOLE thing contained in this one ball of hot concentrated gas... All of space, planets, the beginning of stars, EVERYTHING.
Now comes the fun part:
What's outside of the ball? NOTHING. Not even empty space, because all of the universe (including that space) is contained within the ball!
So what happens when you find the edge of the universe as it is today? Forget WHERE the edge is. If you could somehow get there... Does space just stop? Is there some kind of wall? If there is, what's beyond the wall? How far does it go? DOES THE EDGE EXIST AT ALL??

Its all pretty mind blowing.

But maby the reason is that our minds cant comprehend anything even close to what truly 'is'. Its quite possible that were WAY off and our entire existance is some computer program created by uncoprehensable being(s).
I mean its fair to assume that we are unable to perseve beond the structure from which we are made. We are afterall, made from the same things that we are trying to understand, and that in itsef may be the source of our limatasion of true descovery.

i only hold on to the theory of atoms because its the most logical and proved idea yet, more real than religos faith. but when i look at it that too seem to reliy on faith of what i just cant know.
