There are 130+ empty beer cans in my computer room

but the wife won't stop bitching about how bad rotten beer smells. I spend so much time in here I have grown used to it, and in fact, I crave the smell now.

 

Find a way to turn that stink into a naked lady air freshener that hangs on rear view mirrors and you're fucking set.

 

I gotta get them out soon, cuz I don't have room for anymore. Todays beer cans will have to go on the floor. Every available desk, chair, and table has beer cans piled up on them.

 

Man, scrap them for more beer money.

 

Recycle them....

 

FUCK THAT.

 

Flatten them out and use them to repair your roof.

 

The scrap business is dead. Shit is piling up everywhere because the factories that deal with it are closed. I have 50 pounds of copper and aluminum and could use some beer money but my recycler closed the first week in Dec. I'd drive it to Delaware but I don't have the gas money.

 

Fine, fuck them and then recycle them.

 

scrapping is like recycling, only you get money for it.

I too am sitting on a shitload of scrap.... copper gutters, copper pipes, copper wire.... couple hundred pounds all told, which would have been nice a couple years ago when copper was around 3 bucks a pound.

An aluminum cans, shit, I've got a truck and trailer load of those just sitting in my shed waiting for prices to come back up. These will join those later.

did you really count every one or are you approximating?

 

i'm with jai. recycle them if you can't scrap. then they can be used to make more beer cans.

 

its a rough guess, going on how many cases of beer I've drank in the last two weeks minus the cans I walked off with that ended up in some other part of the house.


6 (cases of beer) x 30 (beers in a case) - x (stragglers in car, garage, along the road somewhere, bathtub rim, back of my shitter) = ~130 in my room. I'll get the exact number when I bag em up later.

 

i get 5cents a can/bottle when i recycle. every now and then i get a free 12 pack.

 

they don't do that here.

It probably would have taken you as long to dump 'em all in the recycling bin as it did to count 'em. Nowhere near as long as it took to stack 'em.

 

that depends. i know around here the nearest recycling bin is a 10 minute drive away. i could stack 100 beers in probably 3 minutes.

 

they were already stacked cuz I stacked them there as I drank them.


and fuck recycling. I'll hoard them till scrap goes back up and then get paid for it.

 

and we no longer have any recycling place here, its a 45 minute drive to the closest scrap yard which is all there is.
