about 25-30 miles (maybe a bit more) directly east of where I'm at right now. Damn, I've never seen them but on Storm Stories and the WC before.... the clouds came from the sky, down to the ground, appeared to have been spinning, and then disippated after a little while. The second one looked to be pretty big... There are some hills in the way, so its possible that they did not touch the ground. If they were indeed tornadoes though, they possibly ripped through the town of Tomah and the U.S. Army base Ft. McCoy. My mom took some pretty good pictures of the clouds and the giant wall clouds that are still out there.... I cant wait to see the news tonite.
I hate tornados. They scared the shit out of me when I was little...My mom would always drag out the pillows and we'd have to crowd the whole family and all our pets into the bathroom. I don't think we had anything near to what ya'll have in Wisconsin, but I mean, they ripped apart everything.
Where you out there wihtyour hawiian shirt, caky shors, binoculars amd cocanut sun screen on your nose!?
That sounds pretty horrible... Wisconsin hardly ever gets tornadoes, though. We're barely just north enough, but I remember last summer there was one that nearly destroyed an entire southwestern Wisconsin town. joo kyle: nope.
