Honestly, we have to evolve from something dammit... what is that thing... there has to be some "magic" in the universe.. not everything is so rational... and besides ... there has to be some spiritual energy we arent aware of that construct our thoughts, our emotions... I mean, not everything can be made from atoms... It makes me sad to see how the world is learning things from stupidities... We have science that never ever finds a good answer, for years and years weve always been rearranging the theory of atoms, and yet it probably isnt right as of today, theories after corrections and corrections in science are probably running away from the truth...
Evolution really doesn't explain how it all began... it just explains what happened to it once it got here.
i love science, it shows me what i can SEE..not some invisible man i the sky...who reigns pain and terror on his sinful believers... but he loves you.... please what a fag...
Well you're definitely passionate about this subject stebo32! I'm not sure how I feel honestly. I have a lot of mixed emotions regarding evolution. I was once completely anti-evolution, but with an open mind, I decided to read some of Carl Sagan's books at my husband's urging as he is very much into his work. Now, some of the content was a bit "out there" regarding certain aspects in my opinion, but I must admit that I looked at the theory of evolution in a different light after reading it. However I do feel that there must be "something" out there. Or was, at one point.
Not knowing how something began doesn't make it magical. People think too highly of themselves - they'll say, there's a reason why I'm here. I say, I'm here and I'll create a reason for being. ...and if some dodos want to believe in god good for 'em. Where is that shitty guy? The least he could do is phone collect... God, Santa and Oprah are figments of the imagination or cgis...
no but its just... its sad to see religion and science are pretty much the most popular ways of viewing life... While some different sciences (but still very intelligent) like metaphysics, dont get alot of recognition... and i never said I believed in God, honestly I dont believe in a thing... life is too weird... such a wonder!
I definitely believe in God. I've had too many experiences that confirm God's existence. I'm not too clear on what, if anything, he wants from us though.
If the theory of evolution is gay, like the title of the thread suggests, then I'm pretty sure all God wants from us is pussy.
I don't understand why so many people tend to be so polarized on the subject. Just because you beleive in god (or gods or whatever) dosn't mean that everything scientific is wrong. And just because you beleive in evolution dosn't mean that you can't beleive in a higher power. The only time that one absolutley excludes the other, is if you insist on trying to interpret the bible word for word. Wich really dosn't work anyways; the bible contradicts itself all the time... But that's another subject all together... My mother is very religious, but that dosn't mean she ignores science. There is evidence of evolution everywhere that can't be denied.
If the theory of evolution is gay, like the title of the thread suggests, then I'm pretty sure all God wants from us is pussy. I'm fresh out of those, but I can make a pretty tight fist. Seriously, I figure that evolution is one of those rules that God created, like gravity.
um, so... evolution is gay because we don't have a perfect theory of atoms and atomic behaviour which also means that not everything is made of atoms what does all that have to do with evolution being attracted to its own gender?
the theory of evoltuion is just that, a theory. scientifically speeking, if..when it is prooven it will be come the law of evolution. but that day is yet to come is most likly verry far off as it stands evolution is the best way of explaining thing at this curent point in time. even with all the research and phyisicle evidence for it, the prosses is not well understood. wich is why its a theory. and any scientist who says otherwise is full of shit. The best anyone can do is to gather as much information as possible, and never stop looking for more information. we have to make opinions based on what we know, and as what we know changes our opinoins should change too. and honestly, any person who will blindly believe in anything, or beleives in absolutes is just another fucking retard. scientists and religious zealots a like.
Our thoughts are made of neurons, and our emotions are made of neurochemicals, which are very much matter.
