A friend of mine was trying to insult a drink by claiming that it smelled like dirty socks. Kind of fell flat.

Ive unfortunately had to deal with lots of dead animals around here... mostly road kill in the middle of the road.. that no one will bother to clear off... and it strongly tends to disturb me.....

if something smells rank I either say "that smells rank" or "that smells like dookie"....
