Victour Lynn Nila was born at 8:44pm on Wednesday, January 16. He weighed out at 8lbs 13.5oz, and had a length of 21.5in. I'm currently waiting for him to be released from the hospital. He was almost good to go on Friday but his Jhondace(sp?) level went from a 9 to an 11 so they kept him overnight to keep him under those big lights they have. He was good this morning at I believe a 6.5, but as I was leaving for work his skin was turning orange again. Hopefully he'll still get to go home, but something tells me that's not going to happen.
Thank you guys. Means a lot to me. As much as I neglect this place these days you guys all stay in my thoughts on a regular basis. I tell my friends about my time with you guys just as much, if not more, than I tell you guys about my time with them. I've caught a lot of shit from different directions for saying this once or twice before because people either thought I was being sarcastic or thought I was being sarcastic. Fuck it though, I'll say it again: This place is a good part of who I have become over the past 4 years. As much as life has taught me over those years, you guys have taught me just as much. I honestly hope one day my son will be able to share in some of the same kinds of experiences I have with many of you. There's a lot of collective wisdom here that I am grateful for, as well as the differing point of views. The people here will always hold a special place with me. Some people I consider as close as family. Others I haven't always cared for, but still appreciate what they have to offer. The most sincere thing I can really say is this: Hate me or love me, you've all helped shape me. I look forward to many more years of friendships and advice while I make this journey through fatherhood, and I hope you all understand just how much I appreciate and respect each and every one of you. 'Cept lode. He's a twat.
I like jaundice. It looks good. My kids had that too... not a problem with his liver is it? Congrats. Remember to hold him all you can for the first 3 months!!!!! Beam and Gleam - it promotes attachment and aids in brain development.
Good to know. Thanks for the tip. Jaundice looks good? And lady, probably as soon as he gets home. Let him know there's plenty of that stuff out there good and early so he has no problem keeping it in his pants later.
Jaundice always made me think they were tanned. Silly yes, but my husband is aboriginal... It just seemed to fit to have a brown-ish baby (not the yellow eyes though)
The chances are pretty remote since only 4% of the population is gay But he will grow up to be tolerant h
too late, i already placed the homo curse on him ...unless you're willing to bargain. i really need measuring spoons.
