Zoning adult businesses actually is what leads to the situation where their presence ruins neighborhoods. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, they say. People admitted to this right from the start, but the SCOTUS still ruled in the early 70s they could zone them. (Of course now everyone gets their porn online and no one cares anyways. But I still remember that.)
