Did anyone ever see this film? It won the grand prize at the Cannes award in the mid 70s i think and its polish about a child that stops growing at a young age and becomes a midget entertainer in nazi germany. Its probably one of the saddest, most beautiful films i've ever seen and pretty quirky too.
If you like the movie, I think the book it was based on is even better. It is by Guther Grass. It is also named "the Tin Drum"
One of the freakiest movies I've seen. Slightly disturbing but very interesting. Personally, my favourite Polish film is Sara.
