I hate 'the scene.' I hate the stupid 'scene kids' and i hate the stupid sucky 'scene' bands. I hate how they call it 'the scene.' I hate straight edge, and I hate how everyone thinks it's sooo cool to be 'scene.'

    GOD i hate this trend.
    This music SUCKS..
have you ever heard this shit?!
Go on www.purevolume.com and pick a random band..
You got a 3/5 chance of getting one of these shyt bands.
    It's taking over the world.
Oh..and do you know what kind of 'dancing' you do to this music?

Going into a 'pit' and proceding to beat the shit out of the people in it.
And even some people standing near.
They look like idiots, i swear.

Nowadays you can't wear a fkkn HOODIE and not be accused of trying to be 'scene'.

    Rahh..
    okayokay, sorry..rant over..
I just had to get that off my chest

Yeah - I don't necessarily like that music or style of dress either, but i have friends that are interested in all types of things - and a few who do really dig the 'emo-lifestyle'... I don't think that makes them any less than i am or myself any less than them...

    oh dont give me this

    i'm not talking about emo.
    i'm talking about this
and plus, it's just a stupid rant
if they didn't want to be judged like this, then they wouldnt act, dress, or come right out and SAY THEY ARE this..
    it's not the people themselves
it's the image that they TRY to label themselves as.

I think those kids personalities trip me out. The clothes are kinda cool lol, they are funky in their own way. Don't really have a problem with the way they dress because I don't judge a book by its cover. To me they look decent in clothing, its not gangster material anyways. :)

I personally am very unknown of about the music and their beliefs on shit. Recently I heard they are pretty straight edge which is something that I'm not. Plus the hair is a bit radical for me. So I don't affiliate much with those folks. They are at concerts of course but I tend not to talk to them. They ask me about a band and I go, "What?" or "Sorry man, I'm stuck in the 70s-80s." :) So its a lack of common ground.

The only reason I'm disgusted with the whole trend is because of how famous and common it is here in Idaho. I guess its what runs the whole mainstream right now. Plus our mexican population gos for the ghetto look. Its just a funky scene. Nothing harmful.

I hung out with some kids that dressed like that and they were friendly but they were so "plastic" and "artificial" with no versatility in their personalities it kinda bore me. The only reason those kids hang out together is because they all look the same, know the same stuff, and listen to the same music.

Plus the whole anger thing with what bands are out and the bandwagons of whats cool to listen to and whats not. That shit is immature. :p
