Anyone else read this piece of fiction?

I always find myself remembering snippets of it and smiling to myself..

It certainly was a good read.

It is my favourite book, I just read it a few weeks ago, and loved it.

I thought it was one of the most cliche'd things I have EVER read, or at least that was highly acclaimed at the same time (within certain circles).

everyone in that book is pretty much a token character. what pissed me off more is that this supposedly sensitive character reads some of my favorite books, but particularly relates to The Fountainhead of all fucking things, while remaining baffled by Naked Lunch. therefore, I cannot relate to Charlie.

but it's really not that bad. I actually read it twice, and the second time (SPOILER) I figured out that his aunt raped him.

its one of those books that has crossed many different people, especially teenagers. it relates to us all because we know that feeling that the main character has felt. definitely something that i think every person should read. not my absolute favorite, but a good and easy read. =)

    It's a good book.
I think it's really overrated, but it's a good book.
I've read it at least five or six times now, and I'd be happy to read it again... I just don't think it's "amazing" or anything.
