The only two good Presidents we have had in the past 40 years were

Nixon and Reagan. Nixon was great at foreign policy. I don't know what the Reagan did well. Everyone just seemed to like him.

Nixon was a crook--check on the pumpkin incident.Reagan was an unwitting master of irony.He cut the funding for mental health in Cal,so that hundreds and hundreds of mentally ill people had to wander the streets and fend for themselves.Then he lost his mind.Fortunately for him,he had people to change his diapers for him.He was a conservative prick.

I don't know about Nixon.

But Reagan was the only president post-JFK with any backbone, that's for sure.

 

Nixon was decent but no one really liked him and he got caught red-handed in a relatively minor offense. Reagan, he was a true conservative in every sense of the term. So if you consider yourself a conservative you damn well better be a fan of his. George Bush is no conservative, or a liberal for that matter. If you aren't too smart, you are a fan of his.

 

Don't forget to add Bush to the list, lol! The list of worst presidents, that is.

Reagan laid the groundwork for deregulation that led to predatory practices resulting in Enron, the mortgage meltdown, etc. Remember junk bonds? Reagan also passed legislation to classify ketchup as a vegetable in school lunches.

And Nixon, please, you can't be serious, what about Watergate and the Vietnam war?

We had people in Viet Nam way before JFK came around.We were helping the French try to hang on to their "colony" with money,ect ,since the 40's.Nixon was a racist prick ,among his short comings.Mellow yellow was right on about the de-regulation issue.Anyone that doesn't know how conservatives operate relative to politics,(republican dirty tricks)business,(de-regulation ect),is willfully ignorant or just plain stupid.

Also, as for Nixon ending vietnam. That was his promise, but he took a long time and a lot of pressure from congress to actually do anything about it. Ultimately, he just prolonged the war and pushed deeper into the jungle. Nixon was a horrible, corrupt president.

Clinton certainly was the best president in my lifetime.
