Please, for the love of everything worth loving, get out there and vote for Denis Kuchinich. PLEASE!!!
ron paul is going to try his hardest to keep america separate from other countries, by tightening our borders of course. Many people are pushing for him because of his policy on drugs, however there are more candidates with the exact same position as him on the drug policy and the soldiers overseas. Also in order to vote for Ron Paul you have to change your vote to Republican, and I'm sure that will do SOMETHING to help the GOP. As far as I'm concerned Ron Paul is just a trick used to hoodwink the people once again. Elect EVERYONE for President!
You might be right about some things, but ron paul has more money and better chances to win than denis kuchinch. but the truth is niether are going to win, because you are casting votes everywhere than where it needs to be. Hitlery is going to win, we will be in trouble. There needs to be a third patry system, but they wont allow that. so maybe we should vote ron paul
"elect EVERYONE for President"?!?!? now this is just foolishness. i dig Ron Paul because he's the only candidate i've seen in a debate that doesn't waste time dodging questions and he get's right to the heart of an issue. and his words about drugs have had nothing to do with why i'm voting for him. he's the ONLY TRUE REPUBLICAN in this race. we've all hated republicans for their promotion of big business and that american consumer machine stuff. Ron Paul doesn't fall into the NeoCon category and he preaches adhering to the Constitution. he's for less government involvement in our personal freedoms and is against nation building. he DOES NOT say the same things as the other republican candidates concerning drugs and the war/foriegn policy and our nations debt. he wants to eradicate the IRS! WOO-HOO!!!! everyone here should educate themselves and go to Ron Paul's website. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/ you're all VERY welcome. I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!
yeah, and your reasoning blows. 1. he's not trying to keep america seperate from others, he just doesn't support illegal wars and the occupations that are taking place in the middle east. 2. most people aren't pushing for him for his policy on drugs, lol. that may be part of it, but the major factor is his anti-war stance and the message of small government. 3. you'll have to change your registration either way, whether you're going to vote democratic or the republican ticket, so yeah.
shouldnt this belong in the politics forum? i mean do we really want to go down this road in this forum ?
I do wan't to go down this road on this forum. The rainbow family has to live with the law and the president and we should be able to talk about it. Kucinich is the most hip, but neither he nor Paul can get elected. John Edwards is the closest to a peoples person that you have a real chance at. Calling Hillary names doesn't really make a clear point, and i don't think she is for the 'final solution' in any way (though if romney or rudy gets in you can kiss your hippie rights down the etc.)
Yeah I wasn't talking about being in the middle east, I was talking about tightening the southern and northern borders, thanks. However I don't get on forums just to have petty arguments with people about things that don't matter, and I already know that's exactly what these forums are about because I used to be a member, and that's exactly why I left.
so, why did you come back, kid? and we're not having a petty argument about something that doesn't matter. perhaps you could grow up a bit and realize how you can make a difference and why you should do so.
The fact is, it doesn't matter because neither one of them are going to win... ...and by the way I was rooting for Gravel, but when they shut him out of those debates I pretty much lost all hope and also, don't give me some self-righteous bullshit about how how I should make a change. Spending your time arguing with "kids" on a forum, that's doing quite a bit eh? Betcha feel like a real activist now Either way, it doesn't matter, the US is going to be in a pretty shitty state for a lil while, and yes I agree we should make a difference, but generally trying to use the legal system doesn't work, because the powers that be want to shut out all opposition, at any cost(literally). Don't assume I'm completely ignorant just because I don't like Ron Paul, and on top of what I said about him, he really just creeps me out.
stop complaining. i wasn't trying to argue with a kid just for the sake of arguing with a kid. the kid said something that held no weight and so i felt a rebuking was in order. and we SHOULD be trying to make a difference with the laws that are in place, that way we can beat the government at their own game. were you suggesting that we "make a difference" through outright rebellion or some violent revolution? if you play by the rules and know where to slip through the cracks, you'll find that you're more likely to get what you want.
I suppose you're right but at the moment I'm young, I don't focus much on reality it's more about big dreams for me. I wish the world was different, I just don't know how to change it. In reference to the violent revolution comment, I don't EVER believe violence is the answer for anything.
for starters, quit focusing on dreams and focus on reality. unfortunately you have to see reality for what it is before you can ever hope to make a change. attempting to work for change by chasing a dream leaves you attempting to accomplish a goal with blinders on to the true reality of the situation.this makes change nearly impossible. sadly this is IMO a major issue with much of todays family. what it should be and what it is are two different things. IMO the only way to address any issue is to focus on the reality of here and now,not on a dream of what it should be. a dream is just that...
great hillary,, just what this country needs a crybaby in the whitehouse,,. she fuckin cries over a complement, supposedly cause the campaign trail is so harsh,,.. pffft.. not the backbone i look for in a leader..
