The most stupid invention of my life- so far

Walk in bathtubs, electric vehicles, robotic floor vacuums and self drive cars. The list is much longer of course, but these come to mind now.

 

The Boob Tube wins hands down, for sheer mind-numbing stupidity, that causes untold unnecessary suffering and death. The latest estimates are, watching the tube can take twenty years off you life. That's not counting things like people playing with their cellphones and walking into busy traffic. At least two people have walked off cliffs.
