awww man that concert was KICK ASS. one of the opening bands was Convulsant...with a former member of faith no more...i forget his name. But he was amazing. their set was all instrumental, no vocals. he played the bass(not the guitar kind), and his drummer was insane. ive never heard anything like that. it was all kind of jazzy experimental rock. very unique. then the melvins...well they were just awesome. the singer was cool as shit. he has some crazy hair, lol. but yea, i definiltey liked them. but hey...what's up with this whole punk greaser look? the club was full of them...dudes with DA's, cuffed pants, big black boots....hankercheifs in their back pocket...of course the studded belt...and emo glasses...but it was just weird...they look like a punked out version of the way dudes dressed in the 50's.
