A list of cars that surely were built just to be destroyed becuase they are such garbage: Ford Escort, Geo (Anything) Yes I have far more to list but you all need room too
I have a Geo Metro. Got it in '96. I've driven it to BC and back twice, to Calgary more times than I can list. Drove it to Montreal. Drive it all over Saskatchewan (like to go visit my Dad which is 5 hours away). I've put more miles and kilometers on that car than I would have thought humanly possiable, and the gas milage is AMAZING. 4 years ago I replaced the battery, and a year after that I replaced the belt... a couple years ago I replaced the front boots.... and thats it. I love my Geo... its never let me down.
The old small LDV vans, I used to drive them as part of my job and they sucked. A top speed of about 30 mph down hill with a tailwind and too small to actually fit a decent load. Oh yeah and the gearsticks used to bend if you changed too hard and they couldn't accelerate past a snail. Those and the renault kangoos. They had a little lip just above the pedals which trapped your foot when lifting off the clutch if your feet were bigger than size 6.
a list of highway vehicules that are actualy worth a dam would be much shorter. and wouldn't included anything aimed at the consumer market. chassis mounted class 'c' mini-transit bussess are about it. oh and snow plows to keep the roads clear for them. =^^= .../\...
Hugo, as in- you go nowhere. Never had one of those I did own a Kia Sephia that was a total lemon..Had a Ford Tempo that by all rights should've been driven off a cliff.
I had a bright yellow 1980s ford cortina a few years ago. It sucked so bad that one weekend I drove it to a club a few cities along, got wasted and caught the train home. Never saw it again.
All cars are an abomination and a symbol of our decadent lifestyles. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Except the '69 Couger convertable, that was a sweet ride.
Any SUV or truck that is way too damn big to stay on the right side of the road. I hate all SUV's especially when they are driven by single men or women. I can understand needing an SUV if you have a large family or if you are a coach, but these women that buy them as status symbols make me sick.
