The dalai lama is coming to south florida. When I heard this, I thought "ah shit, thats awesome." Then I heard that he's gonna be in miami. Wtf, this sucks. I can't get down to miami by 3. This blows, I'd kill to go see him. he was up here a lil while ago, getting an honorary degree from the uoft. seeing as how i worked there at the time, i could have gotten tickets easy, but wasnt very interested to go

The Dalai Lama and the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics are working closely with two schools in the US: Emory University and a school in Miami. I am assuming thats the reason for his visit. He's starting to come more recently. I was in India for the past five months studying in the Tibetan government exiled community. I went to his public teachings and had a private audience with him...He's amazing!
