I haven't been able to get through an entire episode... I just wanted to beat that main character. 'ooh, I'm torn between a lesbian lover and my boyfriend'... gah, like I'm supposed to relate to that? Sorry, I'm sure there's a lot more to the story than that and there's probably good bits too, but I've never been able to get past the urge to slap some sense into that girl.
oh i whole heartedly agree... that girl, her names jenny... she pisses me off to no extent... but the girl on that show that she was bangin was the sexiest mother fucker ive ever seen! marina <3... *sigh*... but let me tell u... she ends up not being with the guy cuz he leaves her cuz he finds out shes cheating on him with a chick (that pisses him off a lot), so she tries to be with marina who isnt keen on it anymore, so then she tries to be with this other woman, and a man, and another woman... so on and so forth... now, shes with this SUPER hot chick named <3 carmen *sigh again*... whys she always get the hot women! gah is right! u should watch the show now... its a lot different
haven't seen it, but a couple of my lesbian friends say that there are more than enough moments where mere suspension of disbelief is not sufficient. According to them, characters do things that are really dumb and not very believeable.
Jenny didn't piss me off that much in season 1, I actually liked her at the beginning of season 1, when her and Marina were starting out, but I effing can't stand her in season 2! She seems to do the most unexplainable things and as soon as you think you've 'figured her out', she pulls something else out of her random box. I'd have to say my favorite characters are Carmen and Shane (they're so awesome together and that speech thing Shane gave to Carmen at the end of the last ep was great), but Dana and Alice are pretty cool too.
