can you dig that? it is the second time since this idiot became a minister that he gets into riots in public, just like when he was twenty and a fascist political delinquent in Milan back in the seventies. Now berlusconi is attempting to pass two laws that will forbid to talk on newspapers and on the internet about criminal trials and another law that will practically cripple forensic wiretapping to the point of making it useless. the reason? too many scandals for berlusconi & c coming from wiretapping and from trials and involving him or his staff. this thing was recently deprecated by Lanny A. Brauer, sign that this is not just paranoia from our side... it is a law made to favor criminals, gangsters, and berlusconi. it is this simple. the judges of our country are just about to make a STRIKE. didi you ever have a strike of judges in the USA?

journalists will risk jail if they dare to inform us about scandals, corruption, theft involving our representatives. we must know nothing except what berlusconi decides it is safe for us to know.
he also wants to close all italian political internet blogs, since he is passing a law ordering that if a blogger runs a blog and someone else makes a post on it saying things that make some other guy angry, when the owner of the blog receives a request from the angry guy to erase those contents because they are allegedly slanderous or false he has 2 days to comply, or a fine of 12.000 (twelve thousand) EUR.
the last victim of these scandals was the minister of public works who got a luxury apartment in front of the coliseum for free from a entrepreneur in the building trade. he was forced to resign. now the evil dwarf that rules us is dragging us back into «Real fascist mode», only not explicitly. this and many, many other bad things make us at risk of a civil war, for real.

In italy there is no such thing as political opponents to berlusconi, except the communist and the environmentalists , currently with no representatives, and a party led by ex-anti corruption judge A.di Pietro, this one actually fighting.
the so called left wing of "democratic party" (don't you find laughable that they decided to copy the usa...), while in words is fighting berlusconi, with acts consistently helped him during crucial times in change of a part of the booty. when berlusconi wants to make some big felony he phones the leftists and negotiates , they take their share and leave him free to act at will, but then they tell their voters that berlusconi is overpowering , resistance is futile and there is a nation to take care of (!)

so unless we follow the advice of 95-years-old movie director Mario Monicelli, who keeps telling us that we need a full blown revolution if we want to stop this shit for good , well, we are damned to sink in liquid shit inch by inch because apart all this shit our economical situation is two steps away from disaster, people is losing jobs and entrepreneurs kill themselves each day while we swiftly become the most racist, ignorant, criminal and xenophobe nation of Europe.

dunno, and to be 100% true one of the minor reasons that make me feel like a foreigner in my country is that i am a rare specimen of italian immune to the soccer virus. i attempted to like it when young but i find soccer to be definitely boring and pointless, the soccer players a bunch of overpaid, overbearing illiterates and the soccer fans an immense sea of retards , drunkards, potentially homicide broilers and petty offenders. in italy all this soccer thing has grown real pathological and i have just contempt for it. so i don't know what is going to happen, and i hope that we get kicked out oimmediately from world cup, and know why ? because after a world cup victory the italian are so delighted, so totally happy that you could easily fuck their ass as well, they would not even notice being to busy partying and congratulating each other. we don't need this crap. we need angry people in the streets claiming for the respect of law, we need political fighters, we need a people with a civil conscience not stupid lame ass drunken soccer fans.

I will be honest and say that hooliganism is in my to do list when I go to San Siro in Milan and I can understand how stupid we sawker fans get but thats the passion (and no killing fans or destroy cities is not passion) but I'll fight for my club.

 

I am born in the north and spent childhood in southern italy, currently i live in tuscany, one of the finest spots around. i'd never reccommend anybody to spend too much time in southern italy, it is slowly turning into something like mexico, no jokes. just think that: the governor of region Calabria launched an alarm years ago: half of their territories is no longer under control from the state, and is ruled by «'ndrine» which are the powerful Calabria mafia cartels known as «'Ndrangheta», different from the orginal sicilian mafia («Cosa Nostra») and from the criminal society of Naples («Camorra»), see , we have 3 different mafias and we know that many choices of our govts come DIRECTLY FROM BARGAINS BETWEEN THE STATE AND THE MAFIA CARTELS. Now we know that we had a season of terrorism and random bombings (i mean extremely destructive ones) in major cities in years 1993 -1994 and later that was originated by the sicilian mafia. the result was the birth of berlusconi's party which was meant to be and was for some time the political arm of Cosa Nostra. now it looks like there is war between them because berlusconi did not respect the pacts with the bosses. he even hosted one mafia boss in his home for years as a 'horse warden' and later this one died in jail without talking. his name was Vittorio Mangano. berlusconi called him a HERO. believe me, please: berlusconi, the chief of our govt, called HERO a GANGSTER because HE DID NOT ACCUSE HIM. on his grave there is written "he refused to exchange freedom with honor", which means: this is a very honorable mafia man who died in jail of cancer but never betrayed his Padrino. guess who is his boss... probably the prime minister who in many occasions called him a hero.and all this because berlusconi claims openly that the judges are ALL COMMUNISTS (he calls them "red gowns") and want to RUIN HIM . I swear it is the truth. so go figure...

one little pill more: Berlusconi's right arm, mr. Marcello dell'Utri, is a convicted mafia man: currently he is sentenced to 9 years for mafia association plus 2 yeras, 3 months for unpaid taxes. but he is still free, very influent, defended by berlusconi against all evidences and probably will never pay shit. he too is one who calls mangano a hero. there are many like him in berlusconi's party.
lately the judges asked the parliament to allow them to jail a major national politician, mr. Nicola Cosentino, a camorra henchman, and Italo Bocchino (btw bocchino means blow job. really... why the fuck everything in italy always has to look like a grotesque, bad taste joke ?????) the parliament of course denied permission. both are very powerful men of berlusconi govt. and cosentino seems to be out of berlusconi's control because once in history berlusconi asked him to resign and he refused. why is this strange? 1)because no one ever fails to comply with berlusconi's orders, in his party it is unthinkable, his party is his own property. 2)because berlusconi never asks his men to resign... until recently because a scandal so incredibly blatant that he could not cope with that, not even with all the power of his propaganda, the Scajola scandal.

i totally agree with your point of view about catholicism. it is obvious that jesus christ isn't involved in that gang, not for the least bit. if you only knew the AWFUL AMOUNT OF ITALIAN TAX MONEY that goes right into their shitty black pockets you'll probably would not believe me. the reason is that our corrupted politicians need their help to keep the italian quiet . everyone of them knees in front of the priests, always. we have grown worse that the fascist Spain . to say one, they have an immense real estate share (claims are one fourth) and do not pay taxes on that. they get a share of our taxes AND get benefits of all sorts, not officially, plus direct contributions and their businesses are tax free. This topic would need a thread by itself , though.

I hope that this thread will succeed in giving those who care a detailed image of the dramatic decline of Italy, a country being spoiled in every aspect of public and private life, a country that is heading right into self destruction among the general indifference, a case by itself in the world panorama.
