The illusion

I wore these around town today, and no one was the wiser. As I sat amoung eight people in Starbucks who were wearing flipflops, they thought I was one of them. My feet got as dirty on the bottom as a pot....it was soooo fun! You can see what I made them out of....by looping two rubberized hair stays together...one wide and one narrow. Experiment, and you can figure out the way I wrapped it around my foot.

What on earth is that bone sticking out of your feet next to your big toe?

LOL!!!!...ya.....my feet are different, alright. I would blame it on the pediatric association approved,pointy-toed athletic shoes that I wore for most of my adult life (and no doubt they didn't help), but those prominent bones run in my dad's side of the family.....all of my aunts, uncles and cousins have them. Nevertheless, they are good, strong feet and they have served me well.
