I tend to avoid TV as much as possible, but when I do watch it, I go for shows on the History Channel, Food Network (Anthony Bourdain's 'No Reservations' being the highlight), or anything on Turner Classic Movies. My boyfriend also persuaded me into watching Adult Swim and I found myself actually liking it. Wonders never cease.

Mad Men is the best current show on Television, imo.

Simpsons (golden years, seasons 3-9 or 10)
    Seinfeld
    Curb your enthusiasm (genius)
    Daria
    Dave Chappelle
    Lost
    Ugly Betty
    Family Guy

Most of those shows are either past their prime, or simply not on anymore, so I watch re-runs or download them

Pretty much anything on the History Channel, unless they are showing one of the UFO/Bigfoot/Bermuda Triangle programs. I can't stand shows like that.
