Some of you may not know what the art of threading is well here it is..what the thread does is shape your eyebrows and plucks the hair out from the roots. I can do the upper lip and full face its fun but serioulsy why do people have it done I agree with my husband its a lazy way to take care of those unwanted hairs i had my eyebrows done it hurts why dont you just shave those unwanted hairs less painful!! so there is the art of thread!

I had my eyebrows waxed once, I was doing a favour for a friend. I didn't find it hurt all that much.

well i dont wax eyebrows i take regular sewing thread and all i do is shape the eyebrows and give them a good clean up it lasts for about a month it hurts less then waxing and leaves no bumps or redness. it takes less then 5 mins. to do its an old art in India

I'm not sure I follow. You trace the outside of the eyebrow with thread, then you just pluck the hairs with tweezers?

That's my wife (the OP) but since she's not on right now I'll explain, you create a sort of a slipknot with the thread and loop it around the hair and then yank it out by the root. Basically that's all there is to it but it hurts like hell.

No I don't use tweezers at all just thread and I don't even touch the eyebrows just the hair on the top and bottom i control the thread with my mouth and two fingers

Sounds hot, but isn't that essentially the same as plucking the hair?
