How long does the body stops depositing THC into hair follicles after you've smoked once in your life? Also, is there any difference between how long it stops depositing into body hair and the hair on your head? Yes, I know that assuming you never cut the hair it will always be there, but at what point (assuming a person has only smoked once in their life and stopped right after that, as I have), would a person be in the clear to shave their head and body and know that the hair that replaces it will not have any traces of THC? i.e. When does the body start growing "clean" hair versus THC hair after one time marijuana use, giving us the best time to cut it off? I've got a test coming up in the future but I have enough time to grow my hair out if I shave it all off, I'd like to have all my hair THC free by the time of the test but don't know when I should shave my body hair (except for eyebrows) and head hair knowing that the stuff that grows back from the root to tip will have no THC.

From what I know any substance can stay in your hair follicles for up to a year after the substance leaves your system. There is a shampoo you can get here statdetox.com.
I have used it a few times and I've passed every test. You have to follow the directions exactly though.

Well it can stay in the hair for life, IF you do not cut it off. What I need to know is how long since my first time smoking, August 9, I need to cut it and know that the hairs that grow out of my buzz cut head will not contain any THC.

    this is all i know:

hair grows ~1/2 inch per month
it take approximately 4 days until the drugs reach the surface

not sure if they check the hair for just THC or metabolites. hair testing is a bitch, luckily i've never been in that situation. I know they would find all kinds of different drugs if they tested one of my hairs. I'm sure for a chick it'd be even worse, she can't exactly shave her head and there'd be a lot of hair all of it containing drugs.

If you can keeping you're hair as short as possible will limit how far they will be able to test back. If you buzzed you're head with a no. 1 or 2 they wouldn't be able to go back that much further than urine testing and it wouldn't be worth it for them to do I don't think. I don't know exactly what it is you're fucking around with though where you're worried about hair testing. I've thought I was gonna get hair tested a few times and I just shaved my head with a razor and then let it grow back a little so it wasn't as obvious but i've been hair tested myself.

hair test is a bitch. they go for the small , close ones on the nape of the neck, if you got nothing there, they go from arms. no clue as to what happens if you have no hair on your arms, but i cant imagine would be a good thing

    good luck
