Text Break Up

is it okay to break up with somebody with a text message? somebody asked me this last night.

 

Hell no! That could cause a person to harm their phone. Be a man and break up with a person in person. Or in a card. I love those.

 

lol i broke up with this one chick over the internet. I didnt wanna listen to her bitching and moaning so i went the easy route.. eh.. it just depends on the situation I think

Its inappropriate. When you invest emotional time into someone, respectfully one should meet in person to really explain the situation.

 

I broke up with a guy by not anwsering my phone for awhile. I didn't ever actually agree to be his girlfriend and he was whiny and clingy as hell.

 

Shit happens..we all just kinda do what is best for us at the time

 

yeah, I wouldn't do it. I think it's cold blooded. plus, it's kinda hard to keep them as a friend after you pull a stunt like that.

 

Previous relationships usually end up trailing off on the friendship side as well. Why bother preserving a friendship that is most likely going to dwindle out of jealousy and spite anyway?

Ah, text breakups are even worse than IM break-ups, lol. But while thinking of it, I've never had a guy break up with me to my face, which brings me to the question, does ANY guy have the balls to say it's over to the chick's face? Cuz I know I've certainly never been disproved of this theory.

 

I do it. I've broken up face to face with all of my ex's(well, 2005 and up). before then I was an asshole too

 

Yes. There was one guy that I dated that broke up with me in person. Of course that was after he guilt tripped me into staying with him when I tried to break up with him. So I was a total **** and he finally broke up with me.
