I have heard that THC isn't water soluable at all, but I have heard of people making pot tea. Can you really make tea from weed or not??

hell yeah, especially if you boil just some straight up weed in the pot and boil it for a while about 2 to 3 hours, then strain out the weed, stir honey in the pitcher then add the tea, i also put sugar, and serve with ice,

water wont do much to get you high, it will be wasteful, it should work to heat up milk and stir with weed, stir it constantly since milk burns easy. you could add some indian chai tea with that to cover the taste.

When you do that how much weed do you usually put in, heat setting, and how long do you need to cook it for? O and how bad will this make your house stink?

i would say low heat and stir it for more than thirty minuets. I dont think it will stink up much at all, but dont be expecting no smell at all.

You can make tea by boiling weed in water, but it won't get you high.
There's no getting around biology--THC is only oil and alcohol soluable.

Someimes people can fool themselves. I have a friend who back in the 70's would drink bong water. He claimed he got high from it.
Them he asked me to save the bong water when I changed it when he wasn't there.
I saved some for about a week. It was foul and looked like old piss. He came over and downed it.
He turned 3 shades of green and swayed on his feet. I was amazed he didn't hurl. He never asked for bong water after that.

You can't get high from bong water and you can't get high from boiling weed in water.

The milk thing should (in theory) do the trick. Just heat up the water, put in the milk, and throw in some MJ into w/e you hold your tea in for brewing. The fat in the milk should (in theory) get the THC outta the weed...though I would much rather not take the chance of waisting it and just make brownies or something.

I dont think it will get you high. When i was about 5 or 6 my grandma came down from jamaica for the summer and i had gotten sick and she boiled me some ganja tea. it tasted horrible but i didnt feel high or nothin. Maybe i was too young to know the diffrence or maybe like my first guess, there was none.

Collect the small branches from the weed and boil them with the water. I usually put lemon and honey.

it will work, but there are several drawbacks:

    - it takes hours for it to really kick in. for me it took even longer than eating brownies
    - it will smell very strongly, so if you were thinking of doing this in say...a dorm room or your house...i wouldn't.
    - the tea will taste like shit
