Tastes like a dog treat.

I have seen this brand in the store! I need to get some type of fried/breaded thing and stat! I smelled fried chicken at the grocery store today, I know I don't want the chicken just the fried bready goodness.... maybe those spinach nugget things would be good.

I like the spinach nuggets. They are good, but I am not sure if they contain milk or eggs. It has been awhile since I had them.

 

The regualar no-chicken nuggets have eggs in them, I know...

 

Thanks for the info...if there is one thing I have learned this far its to check all lables carefully. I'll be sure to check it all out before I buy anything.

if you buy the right brands they taste FABULOUS and even better than real meat. My boyfriend eats meat but prefers veggie burgers (morning star) over real meat. Bacon on the one hand is one of those meats I don't think you can fake. I mean real bacon is cooked in it's own fat you know. It's to far out there to be brought back to veggie land.

And that smart brand is shit. their fake ham is purple and tastes like puke. I've never had anything good from them.

 

I love vegenaise! It's kinda comparable to Miracle Whip... really good on sandwiches. I have never tried fake bacon (never liked bacon much anyway) but it does seem like something that'd be hard to fake. Just like cheese, the fake stuff just isn't the same. I like a lot of fake meats though, but you just can't expect them to taste like real meat. A lot of them are better than the real thing, just try different brands until you find your favorite.
