People, i believe that you'll all agree that Tarantino hasn't produced one lousy, NORMAL movie. Just remember:
    Reservoir dogs
    Pulp fiction
    Kill bill both volumes
    Sin city
    Hostel

He is one sick, strong mind. We should all worship dialogs of Mr Orange and Mr White or Pink, Vega and Uma.

There's no one equal, he is no 1.

the only ones i've seen are kill bill 1 and 2 and i must say...i love them to death. i like how he adds a bit of quirkiness to stuff that's not meant to be that way (blood squirting out of someone's arm like a fountain when it's cut off). i also love the music!

I agree with Jesus the Jedi. The Kill Bills were horrible. The movies he named as good are great, esp. reservoir dogs and pulp fiction and jackie brown. four rooms is also wonderful though too!

I was considering seeing hostil and still might but after these reviews and kill bill before...ehhhh.....

Don't see Hostel, huge waste of time. However, I don't know if you'll trust my opinion, since I also think Tarantino is well on his way to becoming a hack. For his time, he was fresh and exciting, but now I don't think he can cut it. He's directing episodes of CSI and putting his name on any movie that has sadism or martial arts involved, no matter how lame the content. He was legendary, and helped bring indies to a much higher popularity, but he hasn't made the switch from 90's to 00's well at all. But I guess Inglorious Bastards will be the decider. Seems to me that it already reeks of 90's flair from pre-production.

Well, I watched Hostel this past weekend. I didn't rent it but someone else did so I watched it. Um..... it was very short (an hour and a half) and I must admit at the beginning of the movie I just kept thinking "wtf is this???"...
it was also pretty gorey too.

However, I kinda liked it. Didn't think it was great but I found it watchable.

edit- want to add I liked it much better then Kill Bill. Some people liked Kill Bill but it made me lose all respect for Tarantino. In fact, I turned it off before it was over- and I VERY rarely do that with movies.

I agree, Kill Bill is massively overrated, and did suck. Why all the hype? Tarantino basically reproduced scenes from various old-school Hong Kong martial arts movies, I don't see what's so great about that.

Dude, NBK is an Oliver Stone movie, not Tarantino. It is an awesome film.

My favorite thing about his flicks is the dialogue.

^^^^fuck yea....some of the best dialogue ever in pulp fiction, reservoir dogs and true romance. that scene with christopher walken and dennis hopper in true romance is hilarious

Pulp Fiction is awesome. A little hard to understand at first, though.
