    anyone like em?

i had never heard of em until i (finally) set up my turntable and found one of their albums amongst my collection.

today i decided to hit up a record shop and bought force majeure. its really good, though ive not really listened to much of it.

what are some of their better albums?

very trippy music, as well as album art

I love tangerine dream...what more can I say lol
I can't really name any of their good albums cause i've mostly just heard a bunch of their singles...but i'm sure all their albums are worth listening to.

I'm just 'aquiring' their albums Rocking Mars and Jeanne D'Arc, I'll let you know how they are.

Give Rubycon a spin. That was the first one I heard. It's an earlier one.

i looooove tangerine dream. they did the soundtrack for one of my favorite movies, Legend. you should see if you can find it anywhere. i think it might be out of print. but make sure you look for the tangerine dream soundtrack and not the one by jerry goldsmith. the movie has 2 different soundtracks, one for the american version and one for the original director's cut.

i really like their early albums, but not much after they started using all of those cheesey sequencers. i really like zeit and atem. the circulation of events is amazing.

tangerine dream are great. the one record i have from them Phaedra... was the ultimate breakthrough for electronic music.. there deffinately one of the leaders of that genre... they also did the soundtrack for risky business which i thought was cool.

Their best time was in 1970-1977, in my opinion. Lately they have released a lot of bootlegs from that era, which are also great, despite the sound quality.

They are awesome!!! I know the did lots of soundtracks, including "Firestarter". Remember Charly, the character played by Drew Barrymore? :) Nice movie.
