A good while ago, I dreamt that I was - like in fairy-tales - walking on the road with a talking dog as my companion. It was a big, white dog with curly fur. He was very kind to me. In this first dream of him, we were also accompanied by an English grammar teacher from my university. Suddenly, the dog started to bark, as he got angry at some passer by. I soon woke up in my bed, ad the neighbour's dog was barking hysterically at something in the middle of the night. Tonight I have dreamt again of this same dog. He was again my companion on some journey in the mountains. We both had a travel bag. We were walking on some streets, he was giving me some advice, and suddenly a police woman, accompanied by some policemen, stopped us to check our bags. The police woman did all the job, while the policemen waited at some distance and complained about the time the job was taking. Nobody was shocked that this dog talked.
