Hello Fellow Humans, Introductions huh? No easy task. I am a 36 year old chap with a mental age of about 15. I hail from north of Oxford but currentl live and work in Istanbul, Turkey - Merhaba! On the whole I am just a wandering soul looking for reason, clean air and the ultimate sound to strut my stuff to. My current favourite joke is : Q: What's a hospice? A: About a gallon (5 litres for the metric fools of the world) I like to read classics, sci-fi, new lit and just about anything off the wall that takes my wandering fancy. Love movies for that trap door out of the real world, Fight Club, D Darko and for some reason stuff that bats the Catholic Church (of which I am not a member) like Dogma (Praise be to Kevin Smith), Constantine, Sin Eater, Stigmata etc. All good conversation stuff after one too many bottles of a good red. Really have a passion for cooking, my fillet steak poached in dark plum sauce will knock ones head off. When outside I am rarely parted from my beloved Marin bike except when swimming in the sea (swimming pools are nasty!). Like most others condemed to spend life in the real I really want a) the Battlestar Galactica b) squeeze orange juice c) to create the perfect smile on the face of those I love d) stop all the fecking idiots in the world shooting big guns at each other and....well....e) someone to look after and get real wrinkly with. Hello fruit bat, Ummm. Swamp Donkey is a very gentle teasing kinda insult in my neck of the woods. My first girlfriends nick name for me and a reminder of more pleasant times. Well, maybe not nowadays but hey it works for me. Very cool bird by the way. Bit of an avian fanatic myself, to the point of a tattoo of another past love - my cockatoo.
