Hell yeah it's always awesome nostalgically re-visiting your old consoles. I still give my N64 and PS2 love whenever my friends come over to blaze. Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 are awesome games to play high with a friend, and there's still games that function online on the PS2 that are a lot of fun. Wish I could find the NES though... Playing Duck Hunt again would be badass.

My brother had his old N64 and Sega Genesis out a few weekends ago! He still plays PS2 regularly, too...I love playing the older games like that...I'll take a Super Nintendo and an N64 anyday over a PS3 or Xbox!

Woohoo! I love my old NES - still got the gun too if only I could find a working copy of duckhunt.

And you gotta love the chunky gray gameboys! That thing definitely wasn't meant for pockets like the handhelds are today.

if you don't have an n64, you can easily just download an emulator and a folder of every game for it online :) look for "project64" and "n64 rom pack"

Awesome! Maybe I will look for an emulator...my boyfriend has the USB controller, too, that I've used for SNES games on the emulator...maybe it'll work for the N64, too?

And I remember the game boys! My brother and I each had one and we'd have wars to see who could get to the highest level on whatever game first...

InvisibleLantern, are there any flea markets around you? We have a local flea market every Sunday and there's a woman there who only sells old games. I bought another Uniracer and Paperboy game for my SNES there last weekend. There's almost always people selling older games like that at flea markets.

Ebay and Amazon are good for that stuff, too...I bought my Super Mario World on ebay because I lost my original cartridge

I hadn't thought about looking online, but I definitely will now! We do have a flea market but I haven't seen too many electronics there. Online is a great idea though. Now that I think about it I could probably get some controllers in bulk - those freakin b button always shit out! Especially if you have Kirby's Adventures. That game rocks but you have to kill the b button to keep flying.

Yeah I got some controllers pretty cheap on ebay...they aren't the super nintendo brand but they are virtually the same thing and they work well for only a few bucks!

for playing n64, get a logitech usb one that looks like a ps2 controller. You'll need the analog sticks for all of the n64s buttons lol

My brother sold his, too...he got sick of paying for Xbox Live so he went back to SNES and N64. And Gameboy...him and his buddies have a contest going on with Pokemon (they're all 20 and 21 years old)...

I remember playing with my Gameboy when I was little. My boyfriend recently gave me his N64 in hopes of turning me into a hardcore gamer, starting from the basics. But somehow I find xbox 360 games easier to play than Mario. I can't get my head around all those combinations of buttons for the different jumps I need to do in order to not die. lol
