Anyone here coming down to Sunfest this weekend? It's pretty damn super. I went last night because I have to work all weekend so I don't know if I'll be able to get back out but I bought this cool hemp wallet from the Global Aware booth and I'm really likin it. I also bought a bag of cajun roasted soybeans to snack on which are also really awesome... Any other Londoners or anyone else checkin it out this weekend? Heres the website if you don't know what it is : http://www.sunfest.on.ca/ It's basically like an international culture festival with something like over 200 vendors from all over the place and musicians from all over the world who come for it. Best thing : it's totally free. They ask for donations (and you really should, cuz the place is awesome) but it's not completely necessary.
I miss Sunfest. Good party. Hope it went well. Think I'm going to Stampede today though! That'll make up for missing home.
Sorry I missed it. I was out of the country. I've gone several times to it, it's a great event. A friend from high school drew my picture there last year when he was working his tent. Good times.
i was there off and on thursday thru sunday but ive been there many times it never really changes they sell only a gross beer in the tent! im not big on reggae music either...
*Bumpin cuz I'm bored.... Excited again for this years. I hope its just as good despite economic troubles. I want to volunteer but I keep forgetting to email the folk who run it. I twas actually a close call on whether or not I'd be able to go, I think it starts the day (july9) after I get back from Ecuador, which is mighty convenient. So I think I'll just be booking an extra three days off work for my trip to include a little vic park time.
