I think the reason you haven't seen this side of Nat King Cole is because most of his fans, back when he released it, didn't think much of it. "not his style of music" It was only on the top 40 radio for only a couple of weeks when it was released. Oh well, too bad. I think it's a good song. After spending an entire winter being cooped up indoors, summer arrived and it brought people out of hibernation. Summer gives you the opportunity to see what people really looked like without being bundled up in winter clothing. This would spark romance in people.
