they are spending milions for filming the most stupid movies ever including so called ''hollywood celebritys''............which SOME OF THEM are just people drowning in their money eating drugs for breakfast instead of going to africa and throwing goodies around poor children.

 

It's their life, not yours. The world was, is and never will be perfect.

Also, I stand by my post, there are starving kids in America, before you get pissed at people for not giving their money to kids in Africa, maybe you ought to get pissed that they aren't taking care of their own children.

non-stupid movies are extremely rare, and even then, that is somewhat in the eye of the beholder.

once upon a time a certain author observed that "nine tenths of everything is crap", his name was ted sturgeon, and it has come to be known as sturgeon's law.

a bit like that "anything that can fail will, and at the worst possible moment" which is probably better known, and dam i am getting old, not being able to remember the name of that one.

it isn't the universe trying to be perverse, but rather that its nature is diverse, which has its compensations, among which being that while it does nothing to prevent the rise of tyrannies, it does equally nothing to prevent their fall.

i'm also a bit puzzled as to what else actors or other celebrities would be, then "just people".

 

Why do you want to tell people what to do with their money? For some reason its them who have the money and not you.

You shouldn't care what anyone does with their private money.

The other thing:
Sending stuff to africa. Wtf? Do you really think it will help anyone there? Sure it will. But not the children. Most of the things probably gets stolen by some african billionairies.

Actually, I think the problem lies with the insane amount of pay and not what they happen to do with that money. Yes, it would be nice if they'd all spend lets say 10% of their income to good causes but do we? Same with the top positions in banking and the european soccer professionals. It has become common to spend ridicilous amounts of money on them, but we should just make that uncommon again so to speak. Lots of talented guys want to play soccer at the highest level and lots of people want to be actors because of the profession and the arts. If the pay get in the 'normal' range nothing bad would happen I think. And they're still 'celebs' so they still can attention whore for good causes if they like.

 

another horrible movie is Darkness Falls from like 2003ish...about a killer toothfairy.

 

If those people wish to drown in their money and eat drugs for breakfast, that is their business.
