The B-17's were here back in June, including the Memphis Belle... (movie plane)

They take people up for flights and fly over my place but it rained that day so there was only one flyover before they grounded them.

When they do that I keep expecting them to drop bombs...

That sounds epic. I've never seen them fly in real life but I've seen them grounded and they're pretty epic. When I was a kid my grandpa used to take us to lots of military shows and such and so I've climbed all in them before. Because he was a tank commander I got to ride in the tanks which was pretty cool. :p and that's pretty much where my fascination of WW2 especially most likely stemmed from.

I didn't have barbies, my family bought me models to build and I even had a Lancaster and when I moved from Australia back home my dad told me to clean up my room, which was lol because I'd moved out for years but anyway I didn't know what to do with them. I had the Nimitz aircraft carrier, I had the SS Missouri battleship, spitfires, Lancaster, helicopters, tanks and tanks and I put them all in the bin and it hurt me but I knew I had no place for them anymore. But it really stung.

Similar to when about 8 months ago my miss put a grey plastic soldier on a fence paling over the fire drum and I said it was okay but I was so sad. I'd had that army man forever, and as he started to melt I just felt bad. Now I don't have any more plastic army men from that time when they were cool. We bought some more but they aren't the same and now we play games like roll a dice and see who gets to the other side before the bridge collapses into the fire lol.

I saw Memphis Belle when I was sooo little I can't remember much but from what I remember the wheel got shot off and they couldn't land so in one of the pilots imagination he drew really big wheels on a plane diagram and they some how came to life?

Not sure if my version is very accurate lol. But that's what I remember.

The world doesn't deserve people like you.

That's a compliment. Could be taken wrong.
