Still watching South Park

I started watching South Park during it's first season, and after all these years I'm still watching. I have a few friends whom have stopped, or only watch it from time to time.

Do you still watch? Has it gotten old for you?

 

I live for South park, wish they made more episodes per season.

"You're Getting Old" was brilliant. Sometimes I feel like a cynical ass.
South park is pretty much the only show on TV that isn't total shit.

i love this show. can't wait for new episodes.

 

Watch it from time to time. I think for the most part it's become a bit of a parody of itself. It used to walk a fine line being raunchy and disrespectful while still keeping a moral backbone. Now, though, it tends to lean too far towards depravity and loses focus of the satire that made the show so wonderful.

It still raises a lot of good points and fights the good fight; but it tends to undermine and hurt it's messages in the name of humor.

 

I haven't watched the last two seasons. Not by choice....I need to get caught up.

 

i rarely actually sit and watch tv, but if i'm at home i'll have the tv on in the background. generally i just leave it on comedy central, so i do end up catching at least part of most episodes eventually.

the show is past its prime, but it's still way better than swamp people, and swamp brothers, and swamp rednecks, and swamp retards, and the incredible swamp doctor, and swimpy wimpy swampy wamp wamp hour, and the other cloned garbage they show on most channels.

 

IMO it's not that funny anymore and has not been for several seasons. They really should have quit after your getting old.

The older seasons are good though.

 

I was just saying the other day how SP has become my favorite over Family Guy. I only started watching it in the past 2 or 3 years. I love it's crude tone.

 

I still watch.
May not be as hi-larious as the first few seasons but I still find the new stuff funny and relevant.

The Fundamental Agnostics had to be one my fav from recent season.

 

I always watch every episode, Matt and Trey are Brilliant!

 

before season 4 I can't stand it, it's all fart jokes and obscenity for shock value. Post season 4 it is gold! the social commentary is spot on, relevant, and current. Some episodes are hit and miss but what do you want i can't imagine how hard it is to churn out quality episode after quality episode, sometimes you'll have duds, especially when there's network pressure to produce or whatever.

 

I love it, one of the few remaining programs worth watching

 

South park has a messed up schedule. It should come out months ago, instead we have to wait till autumn. Oo

 

I've only seen a few episodes, but laugh every time.

I feel like the show kind of grew up with the audience, and became more politically aware/involved.

Id get bored of anything by 17 seasons

 

South park is a bad influence... Im not even kidding anymore... That freaking show actually made me laugh way too much in this lifetime of mine... Too many bonding experiences as well too say the least... Mr. Mackey make some noiseee....!!! bahaha yeah its a bad show but it makes life make sense.

25 seasons of the Simpsons, seriously there is something wrong with that

The creators and cast of all three series, how do they not get fed up with it all after that length of time
