So like sometimes i just stop and stare blankly into the wall or ground, Also i work in a cubical so i kinda stare into the cubical wall. It's kinda like you just huffed a whole bunch of air duster but you dont have that drooling drounding feeling lol but you just stare. Does this happen to anyone else?

someone told me once that it is actually supposed to be a sign of intelligence to stare blankly into space for ages...i dont know why.

Yeah, that happens sometimes. It used to happen alot when I was a little kid. When I wake up in the morning, there's a good three minutes where I just sit and stare. It only really happens if I do something I don't normally do right when I wake up, like when I wake up at school or in my car. Does anyone ever close their eyes really tight till you see what almost looks like stars, then different colors and geometric patterns? I really love when that happens. I think they're called neural discharges, but I'm not sure.

Hehe I do that all the time... If you can just sit there and not move your eyes or anything for a really long time, it can get really trippy... I've seen some wierd shit that way.... Like going through tunnels and stuff... It's quite the colorful display...

...this may be the 'problem'. i wouldn't know since i don't stare blankly unless i'm waking up, thinking about something or need a minute to clear my mind. but i do know that huffing is one of the dumbest things one can do to get "high". i mean, it's one of those things that should never enter the human blood system. it does and will cause brain damage

unless you're kidding.. then i'm a dumbass.. but jeezus

if youre staring at 'nothing' because you are deep in thought, it means you are able to contain your mind well within itself. this is why its a show of intelligence. it is a show that you are thinkning about something so intensely that your environment is irrelevant.
its a show of lateral thinkning.

if youre staring at 'nothing' wihtout thinking, it is a show of too much air duster

I love to stare a long time. Sometimes it puts me in a trance. I
see stuff too, both when I stare and when I rub/squint my eyes.

I also love to pull my lips back. One of my teachers loathed it when I did it, but kinda had to tolerate it. Yes, I still do it, look at it, and show others. I got so into it at one point that I bought
like a $40.00 mask that is lip-pulling. Maybe I'll start a new thread about things you do with your mouth. OK, back to the staring. I just had to reply to the one post.
