Oh, hell yeah! I always liked watching Richard Dean Anderson. Who, really IS from Minnesota. And he was never shy about letting that be known. Even back when he did McGuyver. He's just about the most open, and honest actor I've seen in a long time.
Funny you mention it...my girlfriend just finished watching all 6 seasons. It took her about a week and I had to ridicule her for not having a life . I think SG1 is ok...but not great enough to dedicate an entire week to watching all released episodes on DVD. By the way for anyone who is as passionate about SG1 as my girlfriend, the 7th season comes out on DVD mid October. paz
I LOVE Stargate SG1. I was not a fan of the film (found it boring) and to start with, I didn't like the series, but I've since been converted and now can't get enough of it. RDA is the man!!
Sam is cool, I agree.... except when she comes out with a "Carter'isms" - i.e. 'all the technical details on why so and so worked'.. that just bugs me.. techno-babble. I thought we saw the end of the techno-babble when Star Trek, but alas it lives on in Sam.... oh well, I still love her
I've only seen the first two episodes so far, but what I've seen was cool enough... it's looking like it's going to have a very diffrent feel to SG1 - but along the same lines
SG1 ans star trek is all i watched after school for about two years. its not on now anymore. just star trek....i wish it would come back. tell me more of this atlantis. i don't believe i've heard of such a series
On Friday's episode SG1 visited a world which was about 50 years behind us in technology, and their appearance was the catalyst leading to a nuclear holocaust! It really made you think about how the road to Hell can be paved with good intentions.
