Is anybody going to go see the 3rd episode? I'm a geek, I got my tickets ahead of time, and I have an "appointment" to see it at 7 tonight...this is exciting
I'm going to see it at 7 tonight also...must make me a geek too, since there are no true coincidences with the Force
I'm not able to see it until this weekend (that's if the money situation is right)...sniffle...sniffle...I want to see it now.
aw shit, I wanted to see it at midnight too; unfortunately I had to get up early this morning for work, so I decided not to do the midnight thing. I'm glad to hear it was great *gets excited* I would ask why...but I don't want to know, I want to be blown off of my seat.
I also saw it at midnight last night, didn't even have to pay since I work there! Yea it was pretty good lots of good F/X, but the scenes between Anakin and Padme were really bad.
My boyfriend managed to get a ticket to the premiere here.. grrrr... he got it of his brothers friends, someone got sick or whatever so there was one place open.. he's at the theater now... argh! .. Wanna go too...
*sniffs* I cried! I can't bealive Anakin did that!! (Not saying what, ya'll have to go see it, but you'll know what he did when he does it) I prolly cried like half the movie. And now its raining outside >.<; It was really good, I'm just emotional like that. Damn hormones. Hope ya'll enjoy it!
hey i know how that goes I cried through almost the whole thing, lol. my boyfriend made fun of me for it too. ass.
Is there anyone that has seen the movie that can actually give a good in depth review besides just saying that it was better or worse than previous episodes? I felt that Episodes 1 and 2 were desperately missing a lot of the elements that made the original trilogy so great. Perhaps the absence of Joseph Campbell's ideas had a lot to do with that. I'm going to go see Episode III regardless, but I'm just hoping that it won't be as big of a disappointment (to me) as the previous two episodes.
waiting to go see it on monday, dodgin the crowds as well. know the whole plot though because i ebat the videogame (which was badass by the way!!)
i heard so many good things about this that i got so hyped up to see it...well i was disappointed...i thought it was pretty bad, perhaps the worst of the 6 The plot was fine...the graphics were amazing...ewan mcgregor is god.yoda rocks.. but man, i wanted to cringe anytime the emperor, anakin or natalie portman opened their mouth.. i'll still buy the movie, cause i'm a star wars freak and i think its an amazing story..
I'm going in approx. 10 mins. hehe...yea for movies at 10 am! lol. I'm excited to see it....I've heard it was amazing...
I went to the opening midnight show!!! It was great, just for atmosphere! The dialogues were terrible, but the effects were very good. The story line was nice, but the development of Anakin's personality and the Emperor's metohods were just not subtle enough, it seemed like a spastic 12 year old wrote the screenplay. Also there was a flaw: Luke was born before Leah, though she is supposed to be the older of the two. But the Yoda v. Emperor and Anakin v. Obe Wav fight sqeuences were superlative. Grievious and Dooku both were finished off a little too easily, as were a few jedi. But definitely better than the second movie, a little better than the first also, not a patch on the original 3. George Lucas' error is in getting too close to it and having a hand in everything and I think he overworked himself and ended up losing the magic. Here's to 10 years waiting for episode 7,8 and 9!
