I was recently prescribed Lexapro and took my first dose yesterday. I became quite sick and I never intend to take any more. Thing is me and a friend are planning to go on a hiking trip in the near future. There's a good chance an MAOI/DMT mixture will be consumed. How long should it take for the one 10mg Lexapro to clear out of my system so the fun stuff can be ingested?
MAOI I know.. what is a DMT mixture?? And what is Lexapro.. n what effect would taking this cocktail of drugs have on u?
Lexapro is an anti-depressant, i think its an SSRI but im not sure it might be an MAOI, i just know its one ingredient in the cocktail of drugs that my dad is on for depression.
per the MAOi & dmt "mixture"... this combo is often called "an ayahuasca analog" trip... and the term "fun stuff" may not be exact in this instance, hehheh...
Yeah, Lexapro is an SSRI(selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) DMT doesn't always have to be a one way ass kickin' ticket to hyperspace. Being in the woods, no more than 6g of M. Hostilis will be used in the preparation. 6g of my current batch will only be a little stronger than a mild dose of shrooms. Just enough to put that extra twinkle in my eye I've seen firsthand what large doses in the woods can do. On the last camping trip a brew made with 40g was prepared. Me and two friends, R and H, just had one shotglass. Without anyones knowledge R managed to sneak 4 more glasses(he's foolish when it comes to overindulging like that, despite being the most inexperienced of the group) Cut to about 2hrs later-H is holding R down while R continues to punch him in the head screaming "eternity." I'm frantically throwing dirt on the now burning tent that R chose to throw a branch from the campfire on. Needless to say it was his first and last mimosa expedition.
be really, really careful with ssris like lexapro and anything that is either a lot like serotonin or operates on it (i.e., the psychedelics, ecstacy, etc.)...there is a situation you can get into called serotonin syndrome where the drug (dmt, lsd, whatever) is releasing or mimicking serotonin, and the lexapro keeps your serotonin levels from falling naturally. Short story, your brain could end up with too many chemicals that are or act like serotonin. The symptoms (from memory) are unpleasant feeling, raised temperature, headache, bad hallucinations and heart problems. I am not a doctor, but be careful about mixing drugs that operate on the same neurological system, they can be stronger together than they are apart, and then kill you. note: I am not a doctor and I do not claim to be sure about anything
The SSRI will detract from the experience IF enough of a concentration of has been built up in your system. One pill is far from enough. Don't worry about it. MAOI and Tryptamines are an intense trip to be sure; but anyone who grows violent on tryptamines should consider that they may have SERIOUS ISSUES they should deal with.
Hello, I was wondering if anybody had previously tried LSD and cipralex and successively hallucinated, in my previous experience I had taken Prozac and I had reduced visuals but still that hyper itchy back pain stage. I am only on 5mg which is half a tablet. If anybody has tripped successfully while taking cipralex or (escitalopram) you should share your knowledge! I may need to get Off the cipralex for a week to trip fully, but I would rather not if I can avoid it haha.
Whoa, if you don't know the answers to his question don't post... Obviously, OP, you know enough to figure this out for yourself... Half life of said chemical is 27-32 hours. So the lessened effects will be about that long, slightly longer. No other side effects will be present more than likely.
