Hey people! I'm having some housing difficulties right now, and so I'm kinda interested in moving into a squat. Ideally somewhere Southend or Brighton area. Can any of you gorgeous people help me out with some info please?? Are there any good reference sites for this? I dunno...thank you! :H Lesa x
Hi Lesa-marie, i cxannot help with the squat, as I do not live near Brighton, but I bet there is somebody who could at least put you up for a bit, till you get yourself sorted. If you were my way, I would offer, as I would to anyone .. The reason I have repied here though, and I know it is a bit irrelevant, is, If you are still not living anywhere stable by spring (march), you could always come travelling Europe with us, on foot. (check my post in the Camping section if you are needed. I am trying to gather as many people as I can for this trip.) either way, Lesa-Marie, I truly wish you luck in finding a squat, or similar, let us know how you are getting on, and if you find something, I hate to think of people on the streets if they do not choose to be. There's a great squatted social centre in Tuffnel Park, London called Circle Community Centre. I visited for a day over Easter, some wonderful people there. It's run as a community project, I'm not sure if they let people come and stay to live, but they may do. Check their website. http://www.circlecommunity.org.uk/
