I was tending to the garden and noticed on one leaf some tiny yellow spots. I clipped the leaf and put it under my microscope and found some eggs. I clipped the dammaged leaf completely off. I also looked at all the other plants and found nothing. I live in a town of about 30,000 and finding a good quality pesticide is out of the question especially this time of year. What can I do for a temporary fix until I can order some pesticide? What is the best and safest pesticide that I can get?

I also lowered the temp 5 derees. It was at 75-80 during the day and about 65 at night. I have good ventilation but, I read that good circulation makes it hard for pest to host on a plant. So, I added a small fan and it defeinately makes for more circulation. I keep the room clean and try to keep everything as sterile as possible. Should I do anything else?

You MUST get rid of the mites asap.

I live near a town of 3,500 and pesticides are sold in at least 5 places (that I know of).
They sell them at the drug store, market, nursery and both hardware stores.
A popular brand out here on the left coast is Safer's.
Look for a insecticide that is for vegatables and can be used up to day of harvest (read label).

Also make sure that it kills spider mites.
Pyrethium and neem-oil types are good, as is inseciticidal soap.

If you don't get rid of them asap, they will take over your entire garden and ruin everything. They can get so bad that some people throw away/bury/burn all plants.
In any case, after the current crop is finished (if it makes it), tear apart the room, wash everything with a mixture of 1 cup bleach per gal/water, and remove any place mites can hide/breed such as carpet or dust.
