Speeding Ticket!

Does anyone know how to beat a speeding ticket. I got caught going 51 in a 35. I live in Kentucky and the ticket is going to cost me 164 dollars. I can't afford to pay it. My girlfreinds car broke down and thats going to cost 300 bucks. So I need to get out of this ticket. That fine is way to high for a poor person. Also my parents insurance will go up it's already outrageous. The car is under my fathers name and so is the insurance so I assume the insurance will go up. Maybe I could go to traffic school. If I go to traffic school will the ticket be dropped and will my insurance stay the same? also has anyone heard of probation before judgment? and how does it work?

 

the best you can do is tell them you are very poor and have lots of bills and figure out a way to pay them a little bit every week. See if they'll take 10-20 bucks a week. If you don't have the money, you don't have it. See if they'll take pity on you a bit and cut you a break. don't forget about court fees also, on top of the ticket. most places will let you pay a little every week as long as you don't forget or make late payments.

Send it in not Guilty... If the Cop doesnt show up to court then you get off... If he does your stuck paying... but it will probably be 6 months before you get a court date (in CT its 2 years before you usully get a date)

 

Its also public information... Call the clerks office ask when the last time the radar gun was calibrated... and when the cops certification for it was done... If either one of those is out of date your free

 

go to court and if the officer doesn't show up it will be dismissed. I got pulled over this morning for going 85 in a 65 but I didn't get a ticket because I was super polite I even did that yes and no sir crap plus I looked cute so I think that helped which is good because if I got a ticket I would have been fucked.

I was meeting someone from another club before their conference so there was food involved too and I was hungry

 

oh and if you talk to the judge they'll usually work out a payment plan with you just don't argue or get defiant i did and the judge slapped on another 300 bucks and I was like 'what for' and then he added another 100 and spouted of some legal jargon. I will never argue with a judge again.

 

Always plea bargain with a District Attornye - never a judge. DA's seem to be much more reasonable people

 

So no one knows anything about Probation before judgement or prayer for judgement?

if you cant handle getting tickets, then stop driving so fast!! its just that simple. doesnt take a brain to figure that out. buckle up, stop speeding, dont drive erratically, and you will be fine. dont cry whenever you get a ticket. everyone gets one. you have to be able to take the consequences if you will not obey the law. geez.

you cant complain if you got out of a ticket, I wish I had boobs to get out of speeding tickets, for sure.
